Maja's place is a haven of peace and quiet in a fairly central location and easy to get to by bus and metro. The Jardin des Plantes is within easy walking distance and so is the Rue Mouffetard with its bustling market and the whole of the Quartier Latin, and other areas of central Paris. The kitchen is well equipped, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The one thing to be aware of is the small shower room/toilet without extractor fan; the window is high up and difficult to reach.

Appartamento molto bello. Posizione favorevole. Le caratteristiche per essere perfetto le avrebbe tutte se non si perdesse in tre punti (per noi fondamentali): 1) pulizia: in cucina il bidone della spazzatura era pieno e non era stata gettata. C’era dello sporco (tra cui anche dei fazzoletti) sotto il termosifone nella saletta e in generale il parquet (piuttosto malridotto) non era pulito. Nelle fughe c’è di tutto! Sporcizia di anni prima probabilmente. 2) letto: il letto della camera padronale è da considerarsi pericoloso per la schiena perché presenta enormi affossature e rigonfiamenti. Alla fine ci ha dormito mia figlia di 5 anni da sola perché noi adulti abbiamo sofferto dopo la prima sera e non ci siamo più potuti stendere. Letto da sostituire assolutamente! 3) doccia: aprite poco poco il sifone della doccia perché essendo troppo grande per la stessa nel giro di breve allagherete il bagno e l’intera casa. Pendenze non rispettate nella doccia e sifone troppo grande = disagio.
