Great serene stay! Wanted to get away & hike and couldn’t have found a better place to do that. Perfect size for a friend and me! We ate meals outside and used the hot tub at sunrise. Very relaxing!

Booked my stay as an early birthday present for my boyfriend. I was expecting a lot more from our Airbnb and unfortunately we both felt somewhat catfished by the whole place. I asked if we could check in early since we were there at about 11:30am but hi-desert dwellings let us know that someone had stayed there and that it was being cleaned. It explicitly states that they usually don’t accommodate early arrivals, so I wasn’t upset about that at all. Upon arrival, however, we noticed a stale smell and many little flies in certain areas. Dead flies on the windowsill, stained sheets and towels that felt wet left out for us. It didn’t seem like they cleaned at all, or did the very bare minimum. I reached out to them and they let me grab new sheets but to be honest, I couldn’t even tell what linens were clean bc everything was just thrown in a pile and didn’t smell fresh at all. To add insult to injury, there was an envelope in the kitchen that said to leave a tip for the cleaners.

Really cool place fairly close to Pappy and Harriet’s (about 20 mins). Both of the sliding doors were broken and locked by sticks which I would prefer fixed, but overall the place is nice and was pretty clean.

Cute place with plenty of space to chill! Really liked how close the outdoor hot tub was to the patio/entrance, made it very convenient to use. Only bummer was that there was still lawn work being done 30-40min after check in, I only rented for a night so I felt like I lost out on some precious time to relax. During my stay there was no cooking oil on site, so pack some just in case.
