My family and I stayed 3 nights and couldn't have had a better time. We came to enjoy a few days of the WV State Fair but had such a relaxing time we decided to stay and enjoy the river. Tammy was a great host. Very responsive and provided everything needed to have a great time. We would definitely return.

Nice place close to the river. Lots of space for the kiddos to run around and play as well.

This is our second visit to CampAldo and probably won’t be our last! Tammy is a gracious host who goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The amenities and location are perfect! Highly recommended!

Couldn’t have asked for a better 5 nights at Campaldo! Views were great. River access was perfect! The train that passes was barely noticed and not a distraction at all. Felt like home away from home and relaxed as possible. So many games and activities provided and for down time. Fire pit was great! The fenced in yard for our lab was amazing and I think she was telling us she wanted us to make her a spot just like it at home!! We took a day to explore the surrounding area. Sandstone falls were beautiful and the boardwalk was very easy to navigate. Lunch at The Market in Hinton was really good! We took a short drive through Bluestone State Park and Pipestem State park as well. On our way back we stopped at John Henry’s memorial and that was very interesting and a welcomed surprise. Tammy was a perfect host! Very helpful and informative and we will be back!!!
