No one should EVER stay at Nanna Tilly's B&B. I am not being malicious by posting this kind of negative review. Ally needs serious psychological help and intervention. She is incapable of interacting normally with people, is extremely controlling, and acted as if she hated me, not having ever laid eyes on me before. She would not let me speak, instead calling me selfish and that I was always lying. If she was calm, it wasn't long before she did things like lock the door to the dining room so that guests could not have breakfast without knocking and calling. Others besides me did not know what to think. I had to go to Cavan hospital for stress related illness, and as I was going into the ambulance, Ally was there telling me I had to get out of her place. Unimaginable. I literally fled to a Hotel today.

Ally is a really friendly host, who gives great advice on the local amenities and sights. Her home is in a really beautiful location. I was only staying for one night to attend a music festival and Ally had sourced the directions and length of travel time to the event for me. I will be back again to stay and discover the beautiful walks & scenery of the area. The breakfast was really tasty, and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks you Ally

Ally is a lovely host and it was an absolute pleasure to stay in her home. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped in - Ally even treated us to tea and scones :) The house is lovely and full of natural light, the bedroom is cozy with a very comfortable bed! And the surroundings are tranquil and picture-perfect. It is a great spot for forest and lake walks, as well as bird watching. I would definitely recommend Ally's home to anyone and will likely come and stay there again.
