Auf den ersten Blick eine nette, ausreichende Unterkunft. Beim zweiten Blick könnte es aber etwas sauberer sein. Es ist wie ein kleiner Anbau, weswegen es kalt werden kann, aber eine Heizung war vorhanden. Wir haben die Adresse eingegeben, sind aber nicht am richtigen Haus rausgekommen, auf unsere Fragen wurde daraufhin nicht reagiert. Haben es dann zum Glück selbst gefunden. Kommunikation war nicht vorhanden.

This was a little slice of paradise…remote, peaceful yet very safe. On our first night, there was absolutely no one around, left, right and in the house attached to the front of the studio. It was blissfully private! Peter’s place really exceeded my expectations. It was tastefully decorated, super comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen may look small in the picture but it had everything you wished for. And whatever else you were looking for (like paper towels or clothes pegs), you can find them in the garage attached. Excellent place to stay for a lovely time at Kaka Point, Nugget Point and everywhere else in the Catlins.

Peter’s place was a very well appointed self contained studio. Bed and pillows were cozy. Kitchen and bathroom great. Location of Peter’s place was beautiful and a short walk to the beach. A great place to stay to do day trips to Papatowai, Cathedral Caves and more. The one issue for us was privacy and noise due to the adjacent house which the studio is attached to. We could hear everything our neighbouring renters were doing through the wall - and assume they could hear us. We alerted Peter to the issue and he assured us he would remedy the sound problem for future guests.
