The Artists House was perfect for a long weekend away with the girls. Pam adjusted the bedrooms to suit our needs. She met us on our arrival and familiarised us with the house. Don’t be put off by the house being close to the road as the windows are all triple glazed and we weren’t disturbed by any road noise whatsoever. There is a lovely covered patio area and a pretty garden to relax in when the sun comes out! Highly recommend dinner at The Boxing Hare which is just a few hundred yards down the road and also take a short drive to Great Tew, a very pretty Cotswold village with a lovely pub called The Falkland Arms where we had a lovely roast lunch followed by a nice long walk. All in all we had a fabulous weekend and were perfectly located to explore the Cotswolds.

Pam was a lovely, warm host! We had a great stay together as a big family - parents, teen brother and 7 year old daughter. Lots of bedrooms, and a gorgeous garden. Super convenient location, quick 5 min drive to great pubs and sights. Nearby pub the Boxing Hare is great and walkable but along a bit of a treacherous busy road, so we drove anyway - 1 min as we had older parents and a child. I would imagine this place really shines in the summer when you can sit outside and bbq!

Met Pam when arriving. Very friendly pointing out recent problems that have arisen since booking. Comfortable beds & lovely linen. Good location to visit surrounding attractions. Definitely recommend ☺️

Serene, stunning and a slice of heaven in the Cotswolds. The home (and the adjacent other property, which we also rented for the weekend) is sheer bliss and stunning in the most simple but modern ways. All the amenities in the house you need, including a state-of-the-art kitchen, which allows for the absolute ideal weekend in the countryside. Location is equally convenient: a 15-minute journey from Charlbury station, 10 minutes to Soho Farmhouse (where Pam's house is equal if not superior to any property at Soho House IMHO) and the Boxing Hare: a world class, gorgeous pub that's just a 2-minute walk from the house. To top it off: Pam was nothing but a gem and absolute dream making check-in/our stay as seamless as possible; inlcuding giving great guides and tips to maximise all the nearby outdoor and cultural activities within the vicinity. In short: our new favourite country pad that we would absolutley book again in a heartbeat.
