The Barn was an amazing spot for our group to relax after full days at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Michele has an amazing space that is secluded yet has all of the amenities you would ever need as well as a lot of parking compared to other locations we were looking into. We had some wet weather so we could not fully experience all the outdoors spaces on the property but they all looked picturesque and peaceful. The horses are great company at the bottom of the barn, providing greetings and farewell whenever they hear you approaching! We all would definitely recommend this accommodation and intend to be back again next year.

Michele is not your typical AirBnB investor host; she runs a truly stand-out operation more like a traditional bed and breakfast—but better. The Barn is the right combination of rustic charm and comfort, and it is apparent throughout the entire property that Michele is not only living her dream but also appreciates the opportunity to share it with others. She has clearly spared no expense to create a breathtakingly beautiful respite for her guests and includes all the details to make for an easy, low maintenance stay. Michele was a wealth of local recommendations and shared with us all about her journey and building the farm without her presence ever feeling intrusive or overbearing. It almost felt like we were staying with a distant family member - but better! Our kids declared this the best trip ever over and over again. They miss the animals already and ask when we can go back. Last thing - definitely go to McConnells Mill and do the yellow hike. Absolutely gorgeous! THANKS, M!!

Michele’s property is absolutely beautiful. We are local in the county and took a weekend away. This is a beautiful place to visit or stay anytime of year. We will certainly stay here again. The BnB property is above the horse barn. The horses are absolutely beautiful and amazing. On the property there are goats, donkeys, and chickens. The most pleasant surprise for our stay was her 2 dogs giving us a guided tour around the property. We were walking along the trails and paths and decided to follow her dogs as they clearly know their way around and it was a wonderful experience. There are at least 3 fire pits, and 1 of them is covered for use even if it were snowing or raining. There is a greenhouse, and pond. She works hard planting in the greenhouse and in the spring, which is obvious by the landscaping throughout her property. Without walking the entire property, we took a 1 mile walk just going around and through the trails on the property. Amazing property and experience.

Our family spent a wonderful Christmas weekend at the barn. We loved walking the property and discovered more and more beautiful decorative details the longer we looked. The Christmas decorations take an already wonderful place to the next level! There were plenty of amenities for cooking with a view of the horses out in the pasture right from the kitchen window. Beds were comfy and although the plan is very open there are many little areas to gather or just relax and watch tv. The bathroom is small but has everything you need and great water pressure. Michele was a wonderful host and her love for the property really shows through.

My friend and I spent a relaxing mom’s weekend at Michele’s place. She is a great host and had excellent communication as well as thoughtful touches that made our stay special. The holiday decor was beautiful! The animals were so much fun to interact with and we enjoyed strolling the grounds. We hope to visit again during a different season to view the extensive gardens!
