Michelle and Sean were terrific hosts. All went smoothly and responses were very timely. The cottage is well equipped and spacious - lots of space for different activities in different areas and a crowd. The dock and beach are terrific in the morning and offer amazing sunsets in the evening. The post and beam cabin by the water was a real treat for morning yoga. (Be mindful there is no laundry facilities nor air conditioning). Will definitely consider coming again.

The cottage was spacious and comfortable. We were disappointed to learn that we needed to bring our own drinking water. Would be good if there were at least a 5 gallon tank available to exchange/refill. The view from the dock is beautiful but it lacks privacy (the neighbouring dock is VERY close). Unfortunately, the BBQ propane tank went empty on our first night and the spare tank was also found to be empty... The hosts are very friendly and open with communication.

We had an exceptional time at Shaun and Michelle cottage. From the moment we stepped in the cottage and looked out of the window to the lake, we knew what a great time we were going to have. The pictures of the cottage on line do not tell how nice the cottage is. It is way nicer than the pictures. Lots of room for a party of 9. Each room is functional and offers a new experience. We cooked a couple of great dinners in the kitchen. It is very well stocked with every pan, utensil and more you would need. Love how large the kitchen is and how it connects well to the dinning area. The wrap around deck gets great sun in the day time. A couple of pieces of furniture might need changing but that was part of the charm. Outside we were able to set up a volleyball net, which got lots of use during the week. We loved the enclosed sunroom at waters front. We rented a boat from the marina on 12 mile lake. Great service. We were able to go tubing each day and also tour the connecting lakes. Sunsets were spectacular and we also really enjoyed having a camp fire in the evenings. The cottage was so cozy in the evenings. Michelle was amazing. Checked in with us when we arrived to ensure everything was ok. She was super responsive when we had a couple of questions. A great customer experience. There are so many more positive things I could say. It’s a great traditional cottage and our two families really enjoyed the experience. We hope to be back next year. Ps, very convenient location to Minden and all its amenities. No need to bring a weeks worth of groceries. 2 grocery stores within 10 minutes for all your needs. If you golf, which we did, there is a nice 18 10 minutes away. All you can ask for.

Beautiful location. Right on 12 Mile Lake. Cleanest water I have seen. Warm and lovely to swim in. Our family enjoyed the large property, lots of room for kids and dogs to run around in. No AC but the water was the perfect way to cool off. Lots of room around the dock to lounge in. Had a great time, and would be back again!

Awesome spot for families! The kids had a great time. Lots of room. Beautiful waterfront. Appliances were basically brand new in the kitchen. The sunroom down by the water was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Lots to do here rain or shine! We loved it
