Basilio was responsive from the beginning. I was going to Vallery for a friend's wedding at the Château de Vallery next door. Basilio was flexible with my very late arrival and helped me bring my bags up. Please call & verify with him for later arrivals, as this was not a given. Spacious room & huge bathroom in the upstairs in-law suite of a charming farmhouse. There was a water boiler, perfect for my morning & evening tea. I requested an iron, and Basilio provided one for me. I also needed to wash clothes, and Basilio was kind enough to let me use his family's washing machine. The listing said washing machine, but he was surprised when I asked to use it. I would make sure to write him in advance to make sure you will be able to have access to the washing machine. He also provided me with a rack to hang dry my items. You definitely need a rental car, as there is no food in the town. You can drive 7 to 10 minutes to a few nearby towns for food and groceries. Overall a good stay.

On arrival our first impression was not good as there was old furniture left in the garden. The rooms appeared clean but were very dark with nowhere to sit. The photos were not representative of the outdoor seating areas. The wisteria on the balcony was so overgrown you could not see out & the balcony furniture was old and dirty. This was the only seating available. There was also evidence of someone else staying in an adjacent room to the accommodation which we did not feel comfortable with. We therefore did not stay at the accommodation and found a B&B in a nearby village which cost an extra €180. Basilio’s accommodation was overpriced and very disappointing quality. We stayed in 7 different places on our trip and this was the only one we did not like.

Superbe chambre, bien placé, très bien accueillie. Parfait pour un mariage au château ou pour une ballade dans les alentours !
