We had an amazing weekend away at the Coal Hole. The location was amazing and the Coal Hole was amazing to stay in. Will definitely be returning in the future for another weekend getaway at the Coal Hole. Would highly recommend staying here.

Coal Hole is a perfect location if you are looking to explore the Jurassic Coast and Weymouth. Really recommend staying here, great kitchen supplies, comfy bed and a lovely food hamper to greet us!

This place is excellent. The communication and check in are seamless, the hosts are welcoming and it is beautifully clean and well appointed. Despite it being a chilly few days we were cosy as the place is well heated. The setting is lovely with beautiful gardens and in a quiet area. In warm weather it would be lovely to sit out and read. There is plenty of storage and the towels were big - a bug bear of mine is when you only get bath towels, not bath sheets. No such issue here. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers which makes a change and the hairdryer was powerful enough to dry my hair - not always the case everywhere I have stayed. I very much hope we will return.

First class place to stay, very clean, great location with plenty of sights to visit with a few miles. Highly recommended place to stay with excellent recommendations for places to eat.
