This place was so adorable and DEFINITELY worth the money!!! In fact it felt like a steal!! The 70’s themed record room was amazing and the green house outside porch was the perfect spot to have meals!! Lots and lots of photo ops!! The welcome chalkboard was so nice (might be even more appealing to be able to request a custom message!!) but all in all this place was a perfect spot for me and my girl friends to have a weekend night away together!! My only complaint is there weren’t instructions on how to have the place picked up or cleaned before leaving/checking out in the morning like other airbnb’s I’ve stayed at have had, we did our best to leave it how we found it and the lack of photos on here for the listing bc that would DEFINITELY add to the appeal!! Very very very cute little (or should I say big) house!!! Thank you again!!! We’ll definitely be looking at this stay if we ever have to come to Fairfield again!!

We were so fortunate to find such a wonderful home-base for our eclipse weekend! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch - it's a beautiful street. The living room was very comfortable, and so were the beds. We slept so well! We cooked all our meals at the house, and the kitchen was well equipped with lots of pots/pans, utensils, dishes, etc. We appreciated how clean the home was. It was especially helpful to us to have all the bedrooms/bathrooms on one floor since I have elderly family members. The owner responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, and shared local info with us about the area/eclipse. We had such a good time! Thank you so much for your hospitality (and the eclipse soda pop!).

We stayed at the White House for the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law. The house had plenty of room for me and my husband, along with my parents. So much nicer than staying at a hotel! And neighborhood was charming. The cost was extremely reasonable, as well. There were plenty of towels and linens, and the beds were very comfortable.

This very charming home had alot of character. Like most older homes, it was dusty, especially with old carpet, but the bathrooms were clean. It was a little hard to find in the dark, and did not see a house number that identified we were at the right place. Trisha did leave some lights on for us and although it was kinda chilly inside, the house heated up quickly. Our only challenge was the kitchen, poor lighting, drawers were hard to open and the cookware needs to be replaced. I did find one small pan that I could use to cook with & a couple of nice glass baking dishes to make bacon in the oven. The place was very cozy, and had coffee, spices, etc. In the kitchen And provided clean linens, & the beds were super comfie. We loved the charming dining table & chairs; the beautiful woodwork, sun rooms and all the little details Trisha & her family did to help us to feel welcome.
