The Potting Shed is a small quirky yet extremely comfortable place to stay. The bed is so comfortable with good quality bed linen, one of the best I've slept in. This was my second visit and I love it there. The garden and outdoor space is absolutely stunning, totally secure for dogs with lots of space for them to run around. I was lucky enough to have good weather and managed to lay on a sun lounger watching the red kites and a buzzard circling above. The birdsong in the morning is a highlight for me , a haven for bird lovers!
I will never forget the felling of arriving at the potting shed on a dry cold sunny afternoon in April. I was completely blown away by the awesome beauty of the private walled garden. The Potting Shed is in an unrivalled and incredible setting. I will return again for the garden as often as I possibly can. The accommodation is fairly basic, but there is a lovely shower room and a huge comfy bed.
Second stay with Kirsten, we love this place. The garden 😍😍😍, brilliant for the dog to explore safely. Local area is great with incredible walks. Had a lovely meal at the Ibex nearby and relaxed with the log fire. 11/10 would stay a third time.
One of the most beautiful Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. As a teacher I was desperate for a quiet couple of days away over Easter and this did not disappoint. Our dog absolutely loved the garden and we would 100% return. Thank you so much.
The Potting Shed is absolutely idyllic in its setting and the decor and furnishings are so well suited. We brought a few little home kitchen comforts and cooked up delicious food from the local farm shop and ate by the fire as the wind and rain pelted down. Ultimate relaxation was given by the TV mount being able to spin the screen to watch films in bed when the storms passed through. The shower is also a dream and gets super hot for a lovely spa feel. When the weather eased up, the private garden with pétanque terrain was beautiful to have a glass or few in and relax. Highly recommend the fresh mint in the garden for tea. We cant wait to come back when the wisteria and roses are out!
