This cabin is the perfect getaway for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. With water access to the beautiful Rocky Bound Pond, the cabin offers a variety of activities year-round for outdoor enthusiasts, including swimming, ice fishing and kayaking. The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from YMCA Camp Coniston, 20 minutes away from Sunapee and 30 minutes from Dartmouth College, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts with nearby hiking and skiing. Hike and ski the trails at Mount Sunapee, swim and paddle in the pond, or explore the local area. The cabin features two bedrooms, each with comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. The master bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom/sleeping loft sleeps 6 and features a queen bed, 2 twin beds and a futon. The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the great outdoors. The room features a comfortable sofa, with a Wi-Fi Smart TV and DVD player, perfect for streaming your favorite shows or movies. The full kitchen with granite counters is fully equipped, so you can cook up a storm or just make a cup of tea. The dining table seats six and is the perfect spot for family meals. Guests are required to bring their own bottled water for consumption. For your convenience, the cabin is equipped with a water dispenser and can accommodate a 4 or 5 gallon water jug, which can be purchased at local grocery stores. The bathroom is modern and clean, featuring a walk-in shower and all the necessary amenities, as well as a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. One of the standout features of the cabin is its vaulted post and beam ceilings, adding to the cabin's cozy atmosphere and giving a sense of grandeur. The cabin has a large deck that is perfect for entertaining. The deck features a gas grill and outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot for a summer barbecue. The deck also offers beautiful views of the pond, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. The cabin offers water access to Rocky Bound Pond, where guests can enjoy a shared 40' aluminum dock. Swim, fish, and boat right from the shore or dock. We offer kayak, paddleboard, and floating mat rentals for an additional fee. The dock also offers a great opportunity for pond selfies! The shorefront to Rocky Bound Pond is shared with other guests. Heat is available October through April. Take a stroll around the pond, relax on the porch and enjoy the natural surroundings, or take a short drive to nearby lakes and state parks, including Mount Sunapee, for outdoor activities. The cabin is also conveniently located close to local restaurants and shops for when you want to explore the town. The Honeymoon Cabin offers contactless check-in for all guests. You will receive check-in instructions the day of your arrival. A welcome binder, located on the island, provides fun local attractions, delicious area dining, and instructions for appliances. By booking the Honeymoon Cabin, you agree to Pond Life Vacation Rentals’ House Rules. New Hampshire is mountainous and cell phone reception is often intermittent. No land line is available. Verizon has better cell service. Please note: The Aluminum dock is available for use May through October. May and October bookings, contact us to find out if the dock will be available during your stay. Cleaning and Supplies This is a self-catered vacation rental. A limited supply of consumables is provided for your stay, including one (1) toilet paper roll per bathroom; one (1) roll of paper towels; one (1) dishwasher detergent pod; dish soap; hand soap; and a garbage bag. Please be sure to bring additional supplies, including beach towels, for your stay. Each property is professionally cleaned and stocked prior to your arrival. The cabin comes with bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, and furnishings unless otherwise specified. Location Our cabin is located in a Pond Community with several cabins and cottages along a rustic dirt road in Croydon, New Hampshire. The cabin is easily accessed off I-89. There is onsite parking available for two vehicles. The Cabin is easily accessible from the driveway. ATVs are allowed on designated roads throughout Croydon that tie into Class VI roads and a trail system that provides miles of exploring. The Cabin is located within minutes to Snowmobile Trails for miles of exploring. The location is rural with many lakes and ponds around to enjoy fishing and boating! Snow Storms The Cabin is located in the mountains and subject to potentially large snowfalls. The location is rural and the Cabin driveway and walkway to the front door is plowed and shoveled professionally. We cannot control what time of day the plow comes and it's safe to assume the larger the snowfall, the longer the plow delay. The plow may not come when only three inches of snow or less is forecasted. A shovel and sand/salt are provided for your convenience. Please monitor weather forecasts prior to your arrival. House Rules: - Not pet friendly -Guests are required to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement prior to arrival to comply with Pond Life's Terms of Service, Homeowners' Association rules or local laws or regulations. Travel insurance is highly recommended for any stay. All House Rules must be followed throughout the duration of the stay. - Guest must be over the age of 21 to book and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period - ID verification on booking guest and all guests under the age of 25 prior to arrival - Direct Bookings / VRBO Bookings: $500 Damage Deposit will be held on Guest's credit card 1 day before arrival and released 7 days after departure for stays less than 30 days. $500 Damage Deposit will be held on Guest's credit card 1 day before arrival and released 30 days after departure for stays more than 30 days. Reservation Cancellations are subject to a processing fee. - Quiet time is between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. No parties, large gatherings, events, excessive noise, or any illegal activity shall take place at property. Fires and fireworks are not permitted. No smoking is allowed in or around the property. If any sign of smoking is discovered, Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the Guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee. - Bottled water is required for consumption - Guests are expected to leave the property tidy before departing. Please wash the dishes, take out the trash, and place used towels in the shower. - Parents should be aware of where children are at all times. Young children should be supervised when on waterfront areas, beachfront, boat launches, or boating. Children under the age of 18 should always wear life jackets when involved in boating or waterfront activities. Parents accept full responsibility for their children in all waterfront activities and boating. - Please be considerate when using cooking spices. We all love flavor, but some smells permeate longer than your stay. Any excessive odor may result in additional fees charged. Do not cook with strong aromatic foods and heavy spices inside the cabin, please use the outside grill. - These rentals cannot be used for business purposes -The number of guests listed on the booking reservation is considered the maximum number of guests approved and authorized to be on the property, staying the night or visiting. A guest is any adult or child at the property. No unauthorized guests on the property at any time. Disregarding this is cause for booking being terminated and guests being asked to vacate the property. No refunds will be given. Guests will be charged $100 per night per person for guests exceeding the approved number of guests. - If excessive wear and tear is found on property or additional cleaning is necessary due to spills; trash left on site; unclean dishes; stains to furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper, or flooring, the Guest authorizes the Owner to bill them for additional fees. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded or if the Owner receives information about excessive noise, the Owner has the right to evict the booking Guest and all occupants immediately and to bill the guest a minimum service fee of $250. - All properties managed by Pond Life Vacation Rentals have on-site devices for the safety and security of guests and the home. Any attempt to turn off, damage, disrupt, or remove these devices will lead to fines and/or eviction without a refund. The Little Cabin Retreat has the following devices: Security Camera System - exterior only; Sound Decibel Monitor - does not record sound; monitors noise level in common areas throughout the home. -For reservations 30 days and longer, utilities are included with caps. Overages are billed and due monthly. Security Deposit If a booking Guest or a member of the party damages the home, the booking Guest may be charged up to $500.
