We arrived at Gemma and Roly’s in the afternoon and were greeted straight away by Roly. He was immediately very friendly, giving us local recommendations and tips for when using their lovely lodge. Roly was also kind enough to give us a hand with setting up the travel cot when we failed to work it out ourselves! We later met Gemma too who again was a wonderful, friendly host. The lodge was perfect - lovely and light with all necessary amenities but also lovely extra touches like the hot tub and nespresso coffee machine. Even though the lodge is adjacent to their house, it feels incredibly private with our own terrace and gated entrance. All in all, a great stay in a spacious, clean, thoughtfully decorated property in a beautiful location. We had the loveliest time and hope to revisit sometime in the future.

We had a great weekend , hosts Gemma and Roly very accommodating to our autistic son and could not do enough to ensure our stay was a great one ! We had everything we could need and especially enjoyed the hot tub . Area was quiet and a short drive from the beach .

Had a lovely relaxing Easter break..The surroundings were beautiful..The place was better than what the pictures showed..Beach was only 10 mins up the road by car..Highly recommend

Roly showed us round the property which was lovely, he gave us some recommendations for good walks with the dog which is always helpful. Everything you could possibly need was there and easy to access. Plenty of parking. The property was lovely and very private, hot tub not overlooked or anything like that. Had a really lovely time!

Wow, highly recommend! Having booked this last minute at 6:30pm we still had a 3 hour drive to the location..not a problem, Gemma replied instantly, ensured we were relaxed about time. Upon arrival we were met at the car, showed around, given lots of recommendations and shown how to use everything. The place was beautiful, clean, warm and welcoming. The hot tub understandably was not full temp so they offered us the family hot tub if needed, a lovely touch! A lovely welcome hamper was set out for us with Cava, and some tasty snacks! We had the most welcoming relaxing weekend, the hot tub was heaven! We may have been near the house but you would have never known, looking up at the stars at night made you feel like you were the only people for miles and miles! Can’t wait to return! Thanks for having us! P.S the 12 pm checkout was a blessing as well x
