A little bit noisy being near a road but not in the later hours of the night. A really incredible experience other than that! Host was very helpful and kind.

I couldn’t stay there coz the place was full of mosquitoes everywhere and smell was awful. I wouldn’t go there

Between Rosemarie’s description and guest reviews, we had an excellent idea of what it’s like to camp on this property. Lovely spot, well cared for, the road sound was a bit annoying but not too distracting. I had been anticipating to be woken up by a symphony of birds from the nearby Audubon sanctuary but was even more surprised by the enchanting night sounds of either coyotes or owls in the distant hills. Nicest and most comfortable outhouse I have ever used!

My boyfriend and I were planning on staying here for one night before traveling further on our trip. We got to the place and it was pretty. The tents were nice, the grass was sort of tall so LOTS of ticks. We were getting settled in when a strange, intoxicated man, came over and demanded to talk to us. He informed us in an agressive manner about how we were on his property. He wanted us to go to his house later that night. When we got back in the tent we called the host and she said she had no clue what was going on or who the man was, she was in Brooklyn so there was really no way of figuring anything out. Left my boyfriend and I feeling very unsettled and confused. We had to leave and figure out another place to stay. :/

Rosemarie's campsite is absolutely amazing. The location is very private, quiet and convenient. It was very easy to locate. Also the compost toilet is super clean. The fire pit is well set up in a very nice area. I highly recommend rosemarie’s place for campers who want to enjoy a quiet nature experience. I will definitely go back again.
