A beautiful place to stay. Exceptional hospitality.
Isabelle has an absolute gem of a boutique hotel. From the moment we met Isabelle we felt welcomed and completely at ease. It's an incredibly stunning place to stay, so stylish and immaculate in every way, yet it felt like home for the couple of nights we were there all thanks to Isabelle and her delightful team. We've already told our family and friends they have to visit & would wholeheartedly recommend you do too.
This is the perfect homebase for a visit to the Burgundy wine region. Isabelle was so kind and helpful and I admired her painstaking detail to beautifully restoring a building in ruins for 7 years and converting it into a small boutique bed and breakfast. The breakfast was phenomenal, and the location was perfect. The only negative, through no fault of the host, was the nearby church bells which ring early and often, as the church is just next door. They are quite lovely though, and this is not uncommon for France. Personally, I would have preferred a quiet morning, but the place is still 5 stars, and is architecturally stunning.
Our stay was nothing short of wonderful. We arrived from Paris via train. Taxi in Beaune to Pommard was about 10 min. Be sure to book taxi in advance. Madison du Pommard is stunning on every level. From the aesthetics to the linens and everything in between. Fatima created the most delicious and beautiful breakfast. Her warmth and charm we will never forget. We arranged ahead of time snacks to be prepared. There is very few restaurants in Pommard, and biking to Beaune at night didn't feel safe as our bikes didn’t have lights. Isabell arranged massages in our room which were delightful. The dinner of beef stew was the best meal we had in our extensive travels through France. Superb. Overall our stay was wonderful and unforgettable.

J'habite à Paris depuis longtemps et je ne m'en lasse pas. Je suis gourmande, j'aime la cuisine sous toutes ses formes. Je pratique assidument le yoga. Depuis quelques mois je travaille très souvent en province et je propose mon very sweet home sur airbnb. "Le jour ou on aura coupé le dernier arbre, pollué la dernière rivière, nous nous rendrons compte que l'argent n'est pas comestible" ( Proverbe Indien ) I've been living in Paris since years and have never been tired of it! I'm very curious and found of good food and good cook. I practice yoga, a way to improve body and mind. Since some months I start to work outside from Paris so I decide to share my sweet home with airbnb travelers. The day we'll have cut the last tree, polluted the last river, we may realize money is not edible. (Indian proverb)
