Had a fantastic week away at Hillside Cottage. Fantastic hosts who were friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and tidy, nicely decorated inside and had everything we needed. You will need a car to get to places but there are places to visit nearby and lots to do in the surrounding areas. The hosts provided a book with recommendations of where to visit. Would definitely recommend Hillside Cottage we would stay again, 10/10 holiday 😊

The cottage is really well presented and exactly what I expected from the photos, plus a lovely welcome basket. Everything you need and perfect for a family, with lots of bits for young kids like high chair, stairgate's and travel cot. The beds and bedding were lovely, what you would expect in a nice hotel, and the place was clean and well kept. The location of the cottage is in the farmyard so you can smell the cows, and there were quite a few flies about so you do have remember you're staying on a working farm. However our kids loved the location and loved watching the cows. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Fabulous stay, would definitely recommend and absolutely great value for money.

Great place Perfect for what we needed, lovely hosts, we stayed over the Easter weekend and we even had little chocolate eggs for the boys and a tour of the farm that the boys loved. Will definitely be staying again.
