Perfect location for or Scotland trip. Close to train station and ferry to Isle of Skye. Great food and fun shopping stores close by. Rooms were nice and clean, very comfortable and host was very nice.

This was an impromptu unplanned stay after our train was late and we missed the ferry sailing to Uist. It was an unexpected gift and we were so lucky to find it......... impeccable standard of furniture and fabrics and fittings. It looked as if we were the first to use the room! Tea tray with biscuits and also a decanter full of whisky and two shot glasses! Continental breakfast was excellent with delicious range of special meats and cheeses, eggs and chutneys as well as fruits, cereals, nuts, yoghurt pastries and toast. Welcoming and friendly hosts who couldn't have been nicer

The Moorings is a great place to stay in Mallaig. The room was lovely - cosy, warm, beautifully decorated. There's a nice residents' lounge with views out to the harbour as well. Breakfast was good and much appreciated. Location is excellent - minutes from the ferry to Skye, easy access to good food and a Co-op. Thanks Heather - a lovely stay.
