The house is very historically typical for this area. It backs up to a beautiful field with a path along a stream that leads to Cannon Hill Park, where we loved to walk. Paul was always responsive and very kind. We enjoyed our four months there.

The house was bit dark, some lights are not working. The shower was great but the bathroom had a bit smell. The kitchen was fine, the beds were generally comfortable. Overall experience was alright.

A big disappointment. The pics looked nice and clean but when arrived, we didn't expect the dirtiness of the place. The glasses of the windows were super dirty, the dishes of the kitchen ( had to clean them again), there were nets of spiders all over the kitchen and bedrooms and had to remove them, the electricity box in the entrance is open ( dangerous for kids), the garden is abandoned, the chairs and the table of the garden super old, one of the bedrooms smells really bad because of the humidity, uncomfortable and noisy mattresses, dangerous stairs. We also had to buy new towels because they were old and with stains, and finally, there was a canvas in the garden that we are sure it wasn't there when we arrived. If they really cared more about that house, it would have been a nice, clean stay. We stayed for one week and Paul didnt' ask whether we were ok, if we needed something...only to ask me doing the check in later and to remind me to leave on time in the check-out. Never again!

We visited this home for a couple of weeks with our 4 children and dog. Paul was a really excellent host - cannot fault him. The garden was hugely overgrown and unkempt when we arrived which we mentioned. This was rectified within a few days. The kitchen is a little on the small side but perfect for a smaller group perhaps. Shower is fab and bathroom spacious and nicely decorated. House was generally comfortable and no problems with WiFi etc as some have mentioned. Upstairs is lovely and beds super comfy. Parking can be a tricky issue with small children as the lack of onsite parking necessitates walking back and forth to the street nearby. Not a huge problem however. Only if it’s raining! The park behind the house is magnificent , really wonderful walks and strolls through the woods and great for children.
