We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hideaway house by the lake. It was tucked away in a private, wooded area with beautiful views to the lake, and lots of birds. The house was extremely comfortable with plenty of space to relax in the various sitting areas, and we particularly liked sitting outside on the decks. The house is packed with activities such as kayaks, tennis rackets and balls, ping pong table and fishing rods as well as games. My 10 year old grandson visited for a few days and he had plenty of things to keep him entertained. We even swam in the lake which was a first for us in April! There are also many interesting things to see close by - waterfalls, cute towns, wineries, and hiking trails. The house is fairly remote so we had to remember to stock up at the stores as they are about 20 minutes away to avoid lots of shopping trips. All in all a wonderful experience and we would recommend to others.

Very beautiful scenery . Lots of room and peaceful. Close to all the waterfalls, really had a great stay.

Our stay was outstanding! We were here over the Thanksgiving week and had a range of ages, from 8 to 80. The younger crowd loved the games, including ping pong and pickleball just across the street. If the weather had been a bit warmer or we'd had a little more time, we would also have enjoyed taking the kayaks out. The older adults enjoyed peaceful porch sitting with views of the lake and the open layout of the main kitchen/living space where all could enjoy being together. The beds were all super comfy, with plenty of linens and great lighting throughout the house. Robert was also very easy to communicate with, quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had leading up to our stay. We very much hope to return!!
