Initially frustrating, as we received the wrong key codes, then found the keys in the letterbox, once inside it was very pleasant, full of light, with a big well equipped kitchen and dining area, a nice sitting area and a south facing terrace, with deckchairs and another table, and a small garden. All this added to the feeling of light and space. Pleasant for 7 people and a dog. The bedrooms were rather small but the beds were comfortable and the bath-rooms brand new. The property as such was great. It is a few minutes away from the centre and the beach. But communication with Chris was different. As soon as I had paid the rent to Airbnb I was required by another company to put down a large guaranty, or else I could not enter the property. After that there came all sorts of rather drastic rules and regulations, and possible fines of all sorts. Luckily another person was available on the phone, and she was very efficient. I recommend this property.

I don't know where The negative points exceed the word count: - When you book this house you have to place a deposit. They remind you several times to do so. The directions on the platform you use to place your deposit are in French which is not really helpful. Also this is not really in the sense of AirBnB. - The communication with Daphne was horrible. - We travelled with our dog. On the profile of this BnB it says that pets are allowed. Two days before we arrived (so we weren't able to cancel anymore) I got a message with some more rules: the dog wasn't allowed in the garden, on the first floor and the bedrooms. I think everyone knows that dogs move in a house. - The worst experience however was that we didn't get into the house. The key code didn't work. Daphne didn't answer anymore. She didn't answer to the AirBnB support so they canceled the booking. We didn't find a new BnB so we had to drive 4 hours home after we had just spent 5 hours in the car. The worst experience ever!

Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum - ich würde einziehen! Wunderschön. Ruhig gelegen, toller Garten! Und man ist in 9 Minuten in Knokke Heist Centrum. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

L'endroit est très bien, très comfortable. Les seuls points critiques sont - une demande de garantie de 1000 € dans l'offre, mais une demande faite de 1500 € la semaine avant l'arrivée, elle a été réduite après notre réclamation. - trop de rappels des conditions d'occupation, sur le règlement d'ordre intérieur. La communication passait par une agence, très disponible, mais le contact n'était pas très chaleureux. Dommage que pour un endroit si cher il y a une pelouse artificielle et quasiment pas de stock en papier toilette.

Séjour obtenu en urgence en raison d'une annulation de dernière minute Rien à redire ,nous sommes très satisfaits, hormis l'accès à la chambre supérieure impossible pour des enfants en bas âge et même difficile pour des adultes
