At the time we stayed, the sulfur content in the water was very high, so I felt like I was showering with a skunk. As Uli stated, if a sulfur smell bothers you, you will want to bring your own water - for cooking and brushing your teeth. I have not been anywhere with such poignant water smell except Yellowstone Park and it was not the drinking water there, but hot springs. We did not find the mattress very comfortable after a couple of nights - I believe it’s one of the modern ones that pops out of a box. It also seems to swallow you making it more challenging to get out of in the night. The bed is accessible on one the left side and at the foot. Right side access is for tiny people. Shower is tight side to side for a 6 foot tall person. The directions and comments made me believe that we needed to take our AWD. This is not necessary. FWD vehicles should have no problem unless there is snow or ice and then I would not recommend this location period. Follow the directions- road unseen.

Very cute and cozy place. Try to get there before sundown, it will be easier to see where you are going on the gravel road. It's very fun and thrilling doing it at night but not recommended for the faint of heart lol.

This home is absolutely an amazing getaway from the bustle of Gatlinburg/Sevierville. Ulli is helpful, responsive and wants to make sure your stay is peaceful and serene. I'm so grateful to have found this place and plan to be back in the summer.
