Judie is one of the nicest people I have met in Iowa. Very caring and proactive during tornadoes and sirens we encountered. Her little dog Callie is the sweetest and smartest. She had food, tea, yogurt and coffee available for me daily. She was also very respectful of my space as well. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Judie!

Charming hostess, neat as a pin home, and the beautiful home decor was a fresh take on a classic seaside cottage! I felt as welcomed in Judie's home as I do visiting my family in England. Located in a peaceful neighborhood with easy access to the shops and restaurants in Ankeny's Uptown district and a short jaunt from all Des Moines has to offer. A friend and I used Judie's Airbnb as home-base to be 'tourists in our own state' and visit places in the Des Moines area we haven't taken the opportunity to visit before. After a full itinerary of sites, restaurants, and shops, at the end of each day we enjoyed a very restful sleep in our room with comfortable twin beds on possibly the world's softest sheets. It was much appreciated to have a host recognize what a great option twin beds are for many Airbnb travelers--not a choice I see offered often. Judie was personable, friendly, and spoiled us with multiple special touches. Staying at her home was an absolute delight!

Judie is the best AirBnb host I've ever stayed with! Everything about her and her home was very welcoming, thoughtful (with amenities and snacks), peaceful and cozy. Her home is a treat to the eye with every single nook and corner and room decorated beautifully. Although i just did an overnight stay, we felt right at home and had a restful short stay. She was so detail oriented with her instructions and what we might need that I never had to ask her questions! Just an AMAZING host overall.
