This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Place is well equipped, peaceful and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing by the firepit, cooking a bbq and staying cozy on the cool nights. This place is close the to the rail trail, the pub, Mansfield and Jamison. Well worth a visit, and dog friendly which is a plus. Thanks for having us!

Extra special in every way. Karen is a lovely host that has an eye for detail - the details that make you feel welcome. We received helpful recommendations on places to explore before we arrived. This enhanced our visit. On arrival we received a guided introduction and special treats. Our pups were not only welcome, but they were also treated as guests. These are the things that should make an Airbnb is better than a hotel. Highlights: peaceful location, good cottage layout, comfortable furniture, nice shower, all the needed amenities, opportunities to participate in many activities including swimming. I highly recommend this peaceful retreat to others. I hope we will stay again here, in the future.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Omaroo retreat. Pool was wonderful and very private as no one was staying at the Farmhouse nextdoor. Super comfy beds, great aircon and good coffee, which was supplied by the hosts! We had a great time and will be back to stay again. Thanks Keren and Jon!

We had a fabulous time at Bonnie Doon!Keren and Jon were very friendly and hospitable. The property was clean and had all the extra amenities you would need for your stay. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with all the essentials, something I feel is often missed with a lot of air bnbs. We also travelled with a small child and the porta-cot was all made up upon arrival, which was a nice touch and greatly appreciated! The property itself is so peaceful with beautiful views of the High Country. It was also perfect for our two dogs to run around and enjoy a swim in the dam. Don’t let the close location to main farm house deter you, again Keren and Jon were very respectful and it didn’t stop us from wondering around or using the pool. We would definitely stay here again!
