Relax in a stylish space surrounded by nature's beauty. Watch the light shift on the hills from the comfy sofa - or grab a stick and go hiking. Amble down the lane to the picturesque lake (equipment hire and professional fly-fishing tuition available with prior booking). Recharge in a superking bed dressed in quality bed linens and revive in the ensuite rainforest shower. The kitchenette has everything needed for simple meal prep, and the private patio is fully furnished for Al fresco dining. The apartment is entirely self- contained with its own patio in a shared garden. We can provide locked storage for bikes/ paddle boards etc. We live on site with our two friendly (but nosy!) dogs, chickens and pygmy goats and you will likely meet with all and any of us in the garden. The garden is secure for small dogs (the walls/gates are around 3ft)

We spent a couple of wonderful days at this airbnb. It was a wonderful find and we were so pleased we'd opted to stay rural rather than in a local town. Our hosts could not have made us feel more welcome and we settled in immediately Everything we needed was at hand. The kitchenette was functional and well equipped. The welcome hamper was also much appreciated. The super king bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The bathroom, like the rest of the accommodation, is finished to a very high standard. The local area is very beautiful with lots of interesting places to explore. Equally, you could just sit in the porch all day, reading or admiring the view. I have no hesitation in recommending this Airbnb: it is a credit to its hosts.
Perfect escape - the pictures don't do this Airbnb justice Very peaceful, private and warm with beautiful surroundings, could have easily stayed all week - better equipped kitchen than anticipated with air fryer, hob and good coffee. Living room is also very comfy, tv has all the extras. The place itself is spacious and new, lots of walks rounds including out the back gate. Will be back !
We had such a beautiful weekend in Erika and Garrett’s home. It instantly felt comfortable and welcoming, it’s such a considered home with so many lovely touches like throws, candles etc. They clearly consider the guest experience and ensure the amenities are of a high standard and conscientious eg the cleaning products and toilet paper, which is important to me. The area is stunning and the walking routes are on the doorstep. We plan to go back in the summer.
Magnifique ! Si vous cherchez le calme et la tranquillité c'est le bon endroit. En plus le logement est magnifiquement décoré. On se sent comme à la maison avec la vue sur les montagnes en plus. This quiet countryside area offers idyllic views, fantastic waymarked walking routes, country sporting ...and great pubs, shops and restaurants only a 15 min drive away! There are fabulous beaches, and even an international airport less than an hour away
We are 30 minute drive from Knock airport, 15 minutes to Ballina and 10 minutes to Foxford. The beautiful beach's of Enniscrone or Lacken strand are roughly 40 mins away. Given our rural location a car is pretty essential.

Erika and Garrett love the outdoors, the wilds and the beauty of the Mayo countryside, which encouraged them to swap city living for the relaxed country life. They live with their two dogs, Darcy and Della. Both avid hillwalkers and Garrett is a professional fly fishing instructor.
