My husband and I had a fabulous stay in this wonderful gîte. Perfect in every way for a peaceful getaway with everything that we needed to relax. Loved the rural setting close to vineyards and with the opportunity to visit some of the local châteaux. We appreciated the lovely little touches like freshly laid eggs and homemade jam from fruit from the garden plus some extra provisions left in the fridge upon our arrival. Florisse gave us lots of recommendations of where to eat in the local area and also some tips on places to visit. She was even suggesting places to visit for our next destination.

We were in the area for work and Jose’s little house, in the grounds of the main residence, was a clean, comfortable and spacious place from which to base ourselves for a few days. It’s in a very peaceful location, with a lovely view from the little terrace and with vineyards and greenery all around. Great location for visiting other towns in the area. The kitchen is well-equipped (loved the jaunty red and white decoration) and Jose and his wife left lots of breakfast supplies including some of their homemade fig and peach jam (yum!). There is a washing machine in the bathroom (so welcome when travelling for a while) and a drying rack. Jose was a very warm and convivial host always responding quickly to any queries and providing assistance when needed (he kindly made a restaurant reservation for us when we arrived very late on the first night). A relaxing place to stay -even if you need to work.

Logement idéalement situé pour visiter la région et ses vignobles, au cœur de l’appellation Fronsac. La maison a été récemment refaite et est très bien équipée. Encore merci à José pour son accueil!
