une petite maisonnette avec une jolie térasse fleurie. La rivière passe juste à côté, parfait pour une balade. Val nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et nous a préparé des petites gourmandises.

The hidden gem really is the Jewel of Bellac. A quiet little gite tucked behind the host's main house in the centre of a lovely Vienne town. The gite is up some steps and through an arch, and youre looking, youll be hard pushed to find it. Mind your head on the bunches of grapes hanging throughout the entrance. The Gite itself it beautiful. Perfect for a couple to decompress and relax. Once the door is shut, you can barely hear a thing, maybe an occasional church bell. The gite is built in to bedrock so stays lovely and cool, which was well needed during our visit as the temp hit 35c. Its is well equipped with everything you could need and more. The single beds are large and comfy and i slept like a log. The shower is also marvelous, and really welcome after a day in the french heat. We were really sad to leave after our stay as Valerie had made us so welcome, it felt like we were leaving family.

Valerie's place was lovely! She gave it a really homely feel, with cute personal touches everywhere, including a welcome basket and well equipped kitchen. The garden area with table was lovely, and there was even a little sun deck too. The location was great - in the more medieval part of Bellac by a nice river and park. She gave us our space but was also very helpful and communicative when we needed her - thanks Valerie!

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine reposante. LE logement est vraiment parfait C est très cocooning Le jardin est très agréable avec sa terrasse et son solarium avec 2 transats. LE logement est près de la rivière ou nous prenions un ptit apéritif au frais..N hésitez pas à traverser le petit pont pour aller boire un verre et déguster de très bons hamburgers. Le personnel est très gentil. Le logement est très bien placé aussi pour visiter oradour sur glané. Nous avons été en train à Limoges pour 16€ aller retour pour 2 Et à 30km vous avez le lac du pardoux trop bien pour faire du canoë et se baigner.. Et petit plus la propriétaire est très gentille et discrète. Et nous avions à notre arrivée du fromage du pain du lait... Nous recommandons fortement ce logement Allez y les yeux fermés
