We booked their place last minute for one night. They graciously allowed us to stay. Their place was so charming and comfortable. The farm was so peaceful and the kids were all so welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!
From the moment we arrived, Gretchen and Jeff's warm welcome made us feel like part of the family. They are inspiring entrepreneurs, offering many unique farm-direct products and experiences in addition to sharing the beauty of their land. Their animals are clearly well-trained and well-loved. The ranch is an absolute rural paradise. The bunkhouse is charming and rustic: the perfect escape from city life. Surrounded by rolling fields and accompanied by chickens and friendly dogs, we felt instantly at peace. Our favorite activity was climbing the hill to fly kites in the open skies as Drake the black lab bounded up joyfully to play with us. Exploring nearby Palouse Falls was breathtaking, but nothing compared to the feeling of returning to the Bunkhouse at night under the bountifully starlit sky. We left feeling renewed and grateful for Gretchen and Jeff's hospitality and the simple joys of rural life.
This was a great experience to take my son and girlfriend to. Not your normal Airbnb stay, since we got to interact with the host and experience their lifestyle, and we loved it. You guys have an awesome setup at your farm, and you all are an amazing family. Thank you for the experience.
This was our first AirBnb experience where we actually met the hosts. Gretchen and Jeff... and all five kids, were so kind and friendly, especially when it came to answering questions from us city slickers about life on the farm. My daughters played with their daughters and spent lots of time oohing and ahhing over the newborn puppies. It was great to get away from it all, yet be within a comfortable driving distance of Palouse Falls and Walla Walla.
Such a beautiful, remote location. The farm Is lovely and the dogs were so much fun! The bunkhouse was clean and comfortable and our hosts were great. I definitely recommend The Cowboy Bunkhouse as a unique and comfortable stay in the area!

We are a family of seven who are native Western Nebraskans who have lived in the Inland Northwest for the last 20 years, minus a two year stint in Wyoming. Mostly what we do is work, a lot, on our little ranch, but We also enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, raising our own food, horseback riding and sight-seeing.
