El Tzitz is the perfect place to stay in San Cristobal. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood that is minutes, by foot, from restaurants, shops, museums and many other key sites in town. Be sure to wander the nearby streets to see the spectacular mural covered walls. The neighborhood is an outdoor art gallery. Inside the door to the property you are greeted by a beautifully maintained, multi-level garden that is alive with color and birdsong. Combined with the vistas of the city below, it’s easy to want to spend hours just enjoying that outside space. Yet…moving inside, the pleasure continues with light filled rooms, a large kitchen and comfortable furniture and beds. It was too warm for a fire but the two fireplaces in the space were set and ready to go. Helga is a wonderful host. She’s responsive and generous and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to make my stay comfortable. On my next visit to San Cristobal I won’t hesitate to stay at El Tzitz.

Heerlijke oase van rust in een prachtige tuin. Huisje was ruim en zoals op de foto’s. Fantastisch ontvangst en een gefeliciteerd kookles van Irma gehad. Het bed mag wel wat langer.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Helga's for 3 wks. It is an incredibly beautiful place with manicured gardens and lovely places to sit and enjoy the blue skies and sunshine of San Cristobal in January. Manuel, the gardener, and Helga's lovely housekeeper set the stage for the day with their smiles and warm greetings and kept everything spotless and fresh during out stay. And thank-you Helga, for checking in on us when we were unwell and for recommending a fabulous, informative guide for our trips to the surrounding villages. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Es un lugar acogedor, muy amplio, bien ubicado, limpio y la anfitriona es amable y está pendiente de ti todo el tiempo Solo deben mejorar el agua calienten el baño, que se acaba muy rápido Pero es un excelente lugar
