Ray’s cabin was just what we needed for our guys skiing trip. Great price point if you are looking for something reasonable and accommodating, but not breaking the bank, especially only being 5 minutes from the slopes. Our group of 8 aren’t shy of each other so there was enough room for the price, 6 would be more comfortable but had no problems with all 8 of us. Not really any complaints at the price point, if I had to be picky, overall it was clean but could use a bit more of a “deep clean”, the grill has seen better days, and finishing the interior trim work would make it feel a lot more welcoming. WiFi was down for our stay which wasn’t awesome but can’t fault Ray for that, he left us a note that he had been in touch with the provider. Overall, we enjoyed the hospitality and location of Ray’s cabin!

Six can sleep comfortably in this house. 1 king bed in a master bedroom. 1 Queen in an open loft, 2 twins in the open loft. One of the twin beds could use a new mattress. If they are important to you, there is no dishwasher and no washer and dryer. 3 miles to very good skiing at Jay Peak during our Feb 20-23, 2024 stay. Heat and every other appliance worked well in the house. To save money, we brought a crockpot and cooked meals that work well in a crockpot. Also, there is a crockpot that was available to us. If you are planning on baking a meal in the oven, please bring your own pan or buy an aluminum one at a nearby store. Owner was communicative and helpful.

Very cute Vermont charm! Also super close to Jay Peak, which was a huge bonus!
