Fantastic wee place to stay! The Piggery was spotlessly clean and had everything you’d need already provided. The hot tub was a great wee addition and was perfect after a day out!

A lovely cosy home in a quiet location. The host were friendly and attentive. We had some lovely walks with the dogs along the river and returned to relax in the hottub. (peaceful under the stars also) The patio is a little suntrap and lucky for us the weather was beautiful so we could make use of the garden. We visited Howden a 4 mile drive away. A few shops to look around and cafes. Therr is also a nice park also. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again. (I would most likely visit York too) I Would recommend for anyone who would like a home from home stay with an added bonus of a hottub to relax in and who would appreciate the peacefulness of being in the middle of nowhere. The local people are also friendly.

Second time staying at the piggery and it won’t be the last! Really enjoy it here. Super peaceful and VERY relaxing environment. Andy is always really helpful and responds very quickly to messages. 100% would recommend.
