We hadn't realized when renting this place that it was listed as not suitable for children. But Wendy, the host, was very accommodating and helpful in finding an alternative. We still stayed on the property, and it was very clean with a lovely fire pit and chairs outside, as well as a beautiful river in the backyard. Very easy to get around to nearby restaurants in Townsend and to get to the national park.

We loved our trip to the Smokies and our stay at this Airbnb. Townsend is a great place to stay, away from all the craziness in Gatlinburg. This location is great and has lots of amenities while also being out of the way and private. The apartment is super cute and functional. The host was kind and helpful, and answered all of our questions. I would say that this location might have some concerns for people with mobility issues- there were several stairs, and the furniture is somewhat close together and tight within the apartment. But overall a really great place! The fire pit was a great added bonus.

Nice, clean and cozy cabin at a wonderful location by the Little River with great view of the river stream you can enjoy by the patio. The room was very spacious and the all necessary amenities were available. Its proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is very convenient. Nearby, charming local pubs and delightful coffee houses add to the allure of this spot. Our host was very friendly and always available, making our stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out process were seamless. Would recommend this place for a nice weekend getaway to the mountains.
