Katherine Street's little blue bungalow is a private home centrally located near the Fort Myers historical downtown. It is just a mile away from the beautiful and old downtown historical district full of shops and sites. The bungalow was built in the 1920s by the Edison Co. It is an older neighborhood that is diverse and more inner city. It is also near the pier, marina, parks, specialty shops, museums, and restaurants. Lee County Hospital and main roads to highway access are close by too. Katherine Blue House This authentic Spanish bungalow house has been recently updated. An original and lovely Spanish Bungalow that was built in the 1920s. It is cozy & homey. The property has been well-maintained and updated with style over the years. It is an established neighborhood, and walking in the area is safe but please acknowledge that it is a city-limited area and an influx of tourists and locals use the street regularly. Clear access and lighting make your entry safe and the online check-in will grant you the freedom to come and go easily. The street does have lighting as well. The main bedroom is the suite, a bedroom with an adjoining room that includes a sitting area plus a closet with its own, private bathroom. It has an upscale and fresh look and a comfortable Casper mattress. A 32” smart television is over the modern storage cubby console. The second bedroom has the same Casper mattress and extra clean bedding, a closet as well. The living room has a very comfortable slipcover couch that opens up to a queen mattress if needed. A fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils needed for 6 people plus, including glasses, cups, plates, bowls, and pots & pans plus RO water filtration system in the sink faucet. This is not a chefs kitchen, it has all needed for living. The coffee maker is a pour-over, there may be a small coffee pod appliance, please look under the cabinet but cannot guarantee. **Please see that all trash is taken out daily to the trash can reciprocal. Recyclables and trash go in separate trash cans. UPDATE: Since Hurricane Ian Notice: Katherine House is located in a no-flood zone, which made her a lot less vulnerable and she suffered cosmetic damages, such as fencing, gardening, and roof issues only. Surrounding areas of Fort Myers's downtown area do show signs of rebuilding and leftover housing projects from the hurricane damages. We have tried to make you comfortable inside and out and hope you enjoy Katherine's house as we do. There is full security around the entire home and the street is well-kept. PLEASE use an online map of the location of the home to get a full view of the area.THERE IS NO EXCEPTION, NO SMOKING (anything), NO VAPING INSIDE THE HOUSE & FRONT COURTYARD. Smoking is allowed outside, at the front, or on the sidewalk. THE GARAGE and use of the backyard are not available. There are NO Cameras inside the house only exterior.
