Great place to stay! We took the two younger kids and they had a great time. There is plenty of space inside and out. The kids loved the short walking trails and never felt like there was nothing for them to do. We wish we could have stayed longer! They are very welcoming and the dogs are great :) Also, the Ohioville Borough Boat Ramp is close and easy to access for a public ramp. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great visit to Golden Pond Retreat. Loved the quiet peaceful setting. Perfect location as its close to many things to do. Close to Rogers Flea Market, the Ohio River, and Beaver Creek State Park, Mountaineer Casino and Racetrack, as well as many others. In addition to the surrounding area, there are plenty of things to do on the property, as the family shares their pond, and many other fun activities during your stay. We had fun!

Carol was an amazing hostess, she provided all and any essentials necessary for a great time. My partner and I very much enjoyed ourselves, our privacy and the pond where we caught lots of fish! The three golden retrievers were so cute, enjoyed seeing the girl jump into the pond and swim! 10/10 recommend for a nice relaxing getaway.

Everything was clean and cozy. The property is amazing. We enjoyed morning walks through the trails. Carol is an excellent host. She made sure we had everything we needed. She and her husband made us feel welcome.
