Ottimo soggiorno in vasto La struttura rimane in una zona piuttosto vicina al mare e ai servizi. L’ospitalità è eccezionale e l’host ha la capacità di farti sentire a casa.

Lots of nasty surprises. Dishonest listing. Bad experience. Listing clearly stated: Free parking on premises, patio or courtyard, waterfront (defined by airbnb as "Right next to a body of water"), a stones throw from the beach, private entrance, essentials like towels and linen included, wifi. However: - PARKING: There was no parking on the premises at all. The only parking available was in the public car park. As anyone who has been to any coastal town in Europe during the summer knows, this was busy and very difficult, with lots of people in idling cars waiting for a space to become free. Thus, parking was a nightmare which was exactly what I wanted to avoid, hence I booked somewhere that clearly stated "parking on the premises". I had to park about half a mile away (800m) down an unlit dirt track then carry shopping and a child to and fro in the 32deg heat. Also, I wanted to be able to leave a lot of our things in the car, again which is why I booked a place with “parking on the premises”, so our things would be safe. Instead, I had to carry everything out of the car into the flat in the heat. i.e. Exactly what I wanted to avoid!! - Patio / courtyard. There was a courtyard shared with the extended family and their dog. No private outdoor space apart from a tiny upstairs patio that only had enough space for one chair i.e. unusable. It wasn’t even big enough to put the clothes drying rack on - A stone’s throw from the beach. Listed as WATERFRONT which Airbnb defines as “Right next to a body of water”. Not exactly true. 0.4km to the nearest paid beach, 0.8km to the nearest free beach. Hardly waterfront or a stone’s throw unless you can throw a stone 400m. I really didn’t want to carry a toddler and all our beach stuff this distance which is why I booked somewhere that said it was waterfront. - Private entrance. There was NO private entrance. The entrance (walk through the courtyard then through the family home front door) is shared with the extended family and their dog. - Essentials included. Not true. Towels and bed linen was extra (20EUR) - Wifi. Kind of true. There was wifi but it was so slow it was unusable for streaming even at low reolution. OK for emails and simple websites but that was it. Also this place is pretty small and gets a lot smaller when you have an entire car load of stuff in it. It is very noisy with drunk people regularly shouting in the street after 1am and loud vespas and motorbikes through the night. The kitchen had very little space, there wasn’t even a draining board next to the sink. Oven was rubbish, grill didn’t work, no toaster, no microwave and no coffe machine like in the pictures. The bed sagged on both sides so you felt like you were going to roll off. The shower was either blazing hot or freezing cold and you had to have it on full blast to make the hot water come on. So after arriving and the big disappointment that the listing was so inaccurate, I dragged an entire car load of clothes, toys, bikes, cooking things etc etc up the stairs in 32Deg heat, parked half a mile away (800m), walked back, showered with our 20EUR towels, sat down on the hard lumpy chair (There is no real sofa) got my wine out of the fridge to pour myself a glass before dinner, only to find there was no corkscrew. All in all a very bad experience and we left a day early. The host ignored my request for a partial refuld so I had to complain to airbnb who refunded me some money. I wish I hadn’t stayed here, it was a lot of hassle and aggravation and not enjoyable at all. In summary… awful.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the location was about a 5 min walk to Vasto Marina with a path right in front of the airb&b. The host were great and provided us with what we needed. Parking in front of the place is free, but it is the public parking for people coming to the beach, so spots are full during peak beach season throughout the day, but you will be able to find parking once people start leaving around 3pm. During our stay the city ran a shuttle bus and the pick up locations was in front of the airbnb to bring us up to Vasto Center.

Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Casa come da descrizione. Unico neo è il rumore della strada vicino alla camera da letto, davvero molto trafficata.
