We stayed here for 4 nights and four days. Arnold was there to greet us when we arrived and show us to the lodge. There was a welcome package of pastries and Easter eggs along with coffee and teas. Arnold was a mine of local information regarding places to visit and cafes/restaurants. He also told us about the local area and the history of Hof Van Eggertingen. The lodge was perfect for four adults with comfy beds and everything we needed. The gardens were lovely and the alpacas very friendly as was the family dog. Arnold and Edith made us feel very welcome and we would certainly return there again and recommend wholeheartedly.

Peaceful and beautiful location. The host is very accommodating, friendly, and took pleasure in telling us about the (interesting history of the) premises. All in all, a great stay!

Wij hebben met onze twee kinderen van 12 en 15 jaar een aangenaam verblijf gehad. Deze locatie ligt zeer centraal. Er is van alles te doen en te bezichtigen in de omgeving, wel heb je hiervoor de auto nodig. Verder was de accomodatie zeer schoon, rustig en van alle gemakken voorzien.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations on every level. The host provided a friendly welcome and introduction to the property and offered for us to engage with the alpacas and also to have a tour of the town. He was also flexible with the checkin time as we had a late tour. The next day he shared the amazing history of the property and took us on a walking tour of the village. He also recommended some local sights to visit. The accommodation was clean, modern and extremely well equipped. We were sad to leave and wish we had known about this place before so we could stay longer. A great place to stay to explore Maastricht and the history of the area. Lots to see within a short drive. Thanks so much Arnold and family.
