Rustic, off-grid cabin experience:) beautiful little space with couch, antique furniture and a bed. The night sky is amazing with a great view of the milky way!! Be prepared for no power or running water source (in September anyways). Water is supplied and we had more than enough for our 3 night stay. The room is heated by a propane heater. We brought a separate butane hearer and it was used in conjunction with the propane heater nightly. Be prepared for cooking in the cookhouse and having a truly rustic experience which is just what we needed as an escape from the city! Bring camp-type supplies without the tent and tarp and you’ll have a comfortable relaxing time! So many lakes to explore as well: canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking await!! Thanks to Gail and Nick for a great getaway:)

lovely place ! the photo provided showed the bed with sheets and although the ad said to bring blankets, it said sheets were provided which only includes the mattress cover, so it was a miscommunication. The staff were lovely and the store has all the amenities you need.

As described, rustic cabin! Was nice to stay in. The bed isn’t very comfortable as it’s a spring type mattress and you feel them all lol. Remember you need your own blankets and pillows! The staff was very accommodating and we enjoyed the stay. Very peaceful spot, away from all the RVs but there is a couple other sites close to you. They were empty when we were there, so not an issue.

Enjoyed our stay in the little cabin, we were able to have a fire and there is a small propane heater in the cabin. There were some supplied candles and lantern but now that it's getting dark faster bring extra light for inside. Loved having our dogs with us and they got to enjoy the creek and river nearby.
