The cottage was exactly as described. Very remote location, which was extremely relaxing, I just wish the weather was better (it rained) so we could have enjoyed sitting on the dock!

We had the most relaxing and peaceful stay. The house was beautiful and clean. The bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the kayak, canoe, dock and the large screened in porch, oh and also the fire pit. We would love to go back again.

A unique experience in the deep woods. The house is in great condition. The screen porch, along with the different levels of decking are a work of art offering lots of places to hang out. It has a comfortable king bed on main level and a second bedroom in the basement. (Important to discuss in advance if going with another couple.) The kayaks are small size, but fun to explore the river. Fully equipped kitchen and great climate control with the heat-pumps and ceiling fans. Didn't really find any of the furniture to be that comfortable. Nice house, but the location a little too far out of my comfort zone. Also remember, "What goes up, must come down". Lots of stairs!

Beautiful, peaceful and more than adequate home, (with the exception of the bath, which is quite small). Knowing this, we would love to return. Being somewhat familiar with the area, we were looking forward to getting back to some local eateries. However, once at the home, with the fantastic grill, we didn’t eat out at all!!
