The accommodation is fantastic! The host provided clear instructions, and the house was impeccably clean and cozy. It's conveniently situated, only a 10-minute drive from Kings Beach and right next to the Northstar ski slopes. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of utensils and necessary appliances, and the heating system worked efficiently. However, it's important to note that the accommodation can accommodate only 7 people, not 8, which can be misleading based on the pictures, so it's best to confirm with the host. While the beds weren't the most comfortable, they were arranged nicely. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that the hot tub comes at an extra cost of $8 per person and is located a trail away from the property, making it not easily accessible. We booked the property specifically because of the hot tub, so we were disappointed by its inaccessibility. Overall, aside from these points, it's a good place to stay that offers decent value for money.

Lovely place, clean, comfortable, homey. Fully equipped kitchen. Ridiculously close to Northstar (1/4 mile). Will definitely come back. However, would not recommend it to older folks. Parking spot far from the house. Accessible only through a series of steps. House has three levels and you have to keep going up and down. But otherwise, great stay, and great value.

Overall, the place is solid. Good location (<5 minute shuttle ride to the village and usually the shuttle arrives within a couple minutes), 3 good bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, nice decks, etc. The only slight issue was the heat (really couldn't get it to regulate on the bottom floor - opening the window slightly was the only way we could sleep comfortably). The unit is probably 100+ feet from the parking lot, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but good to keep in mind if loading / unloading lots of stuff, especially in the snow.
