Staying at Carole’s place was a wonderful experience. The property is huge and you can feel the nature walking through the woods. Everything was clean and extremely well decorated. A perfect place to stay and visit close to the parks and lakes. Carole is a super nice person which you want to talk with, and very responsive about everything you could need. Comfortable, cozy stay. As advertised and well-equipped for short or longer visits. Kitchen is well stocked, ideal for cooking. Convenient remote work setup. Secluded location but also close enough to town. Carole, the host, was very nice and welcoming. Recommended.

If you are looking for a peaceful respite from your busy life, this is the place. Walk in the woods, sit and read in the cozy living room, or visit one of the nearby towns for food or shopping. At night, crawl into the comfy king size bed and sleep like a baby! Carole makes you feel like family the minute you walk in the door. Thank you!

Anam Cara is wonderful! Carole's apartment is spacious, clean, well-laid out, nicely furnished, decorated, and stocked! Carole packs it with things guests could use, from spices to cookware to extra blankets, Q-tips, you name it. I'm sure if you need something not there, Carole would be happy to help. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is nice and dark at night. There is a proper desk, which was great, because I spent a week there on a working retreat. The gas stove in the living room kept it cozy. The property is wooded, so made for nice ambles when I wanted to stretch my legs. Carole is kind, considerate, and generous. She made sure I had what I needed and then let me hide away--just what I wanted. Her dogs are sweethearts. They barked some, like any dog will, but never for long and not frequently. They are mentioned in the listing, so I knew to expect them and no complaints. Everything is super clean. Just GREAT!
