Mark was incredibly responsive for any questions we had. he was out of town for our stay but had someone two doors down that helped us for anything we needed. they went above and beyond for us. if you're considering this place, your search is over- book it now. the boathouse was our favorite part of our entire trip.

The boathouse was a stunning, cozy retreat for a quick winter excursion. Prime location close to snowshoeing and cross country ski trails (check out Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford, ME). Grocery store and delicious local restaurants less than a ten minute drive down the road. Absolutely stunning views off the back of the house over the frozen lake. Mark was incredibly responsive and helpful by text, and you have all the basics and then some (hello massage chair). We’ve already booked our return for August, and we can’t wait to see the water in summer! Absolutely worth the trip!

The boathouse is incredibly peaceful and has beautiful views of the lake from every window. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of trails nearby to hike, and it was easy access to Portland and other harbors we wanted to visit. Mark is also super responsive and helpful if you have any questions!

Absolutely beautiful location. You can see the lake from several points in the building. Spiral staircase took some getting used to, but thanks to two entrances, you don't necessarily have to use it.

Great place!! Great views of the water from everywhere in the cabin. It was a little chilly for swimming at the end of September but we did do some kayaking. Good location for exploring other towns in Maine also. Perfect fall getaway!
