Charmwood is absolutely adorable. The bedrooms are comfortable and inviting. My kids loved the room of bunkbeds. Teenager loved having her own adorable room decorated so nicely! The homeowners have thought of everything from the entry way down to the back doors that lead to the path to your own dock. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and fishing from the dock. Life jackets available. the whole family loved the ping pong table ans games in the lower level. Kitchen has all the utensils and things you will need to feel right at home. You can get to a Food Lion and a cute coffee shop and small local corner store within 10 minutes. We loved having two outdoor deck areas to relax and enjoy and the firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs was a hit. We will return to enjoy this house again. Don't hesitate, book this house. Homeowners were easy to communicate with and very helpful!

We use AirB and VRBO a lot and this property was a stand out hit with the family. Everyone was complimenting the house and grounds. Clear instructions, very responsive hosts and everything was perfect. I would recommend staying here to anyone interested visiting the lake. Wow! what can I say. The place was absolutely beautiful! Exactly as described. Everything was so neat and clean. Well stocked kitchen,bathrooms, and was lake and things to do ready! There are plenty of games, tvs, and equipment to play on the lake. Lots of beds for a large group. Nice, quiet,and peaceful neighborhood. The furniture was comfy. Rachel and hubby were very nice and friendly and corresponded quickly. Would highly recommend and stay there again! Grocery store close to house.

We had a wonderful couples getaway this fall. This is a two story home with sleeping and living spaces on both levels. It was 6 of us. We all had a private room and bathroom. The weather and fall foliage were perfect! House is spacious, very clean and fully stocked. Like many waterfront properties at the lake, there was a short but steep walk to the lake. All rooms had smart TVs. The large kitchen table was great for games and had a nice view to the outdoors. They have two soundbars to play music. The firepit area was nice and had good quality seating . We used the kayaks in the cove. Someone had stored them facing upward so there was one full of leaves and water (they did not read house manual). We cleaned it out, no biggie. The bottom level has a family room with ping-pong table and new modern bathroom. We loved this property. We will consider renting it during the summer. They have a floating dock so you can bring your boat as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly what we were expecting and to our surprise was very well stocked with items we might need while there. The host was very responsive and flexible with check in. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the lake front view was spectacular. Our only complaint was the trash procedure at checkout. We were required to remove all trash from the property and take it to the trash facility. This wasn’t a huge deal but we weren’t expecting to have to do this as other airbnbs haven’t required trash to be removed from the property completely, only from the inside of the house. Regardless we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this property to others.
