The condo we arrived to did not match the photos of the listing. Long story short, the front desk explained that a condo like the one in the photos was not available. This was confirmed by the host. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between the host and co-host. The co-host “booked the suite under the wrong listing.” The host offered to take $25 off per night. I did not believe that was a fair offer given the substantial difference in accommodations and attempted to explain this to the host. In the end, Airbnb customer support did a great job to intervene and quickly brought resolution to the matter.

We had a great weekend. It was close to a lot of resturantes and shoping in Tyler TX. The resort was quite and peaceful. It was a beautiful lake. The condo was just the right size for two couples or a small family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was a good location and plenty of room. My only “complaint” had nothing to do with the condo. It was the check in process. Upon arrival, we checked in at the main area for the resort. We ended up getting a sales pitch on how to get free horseback riding. We didn’t realize we were at a timeshare condo type place. So we went along with it (which I know we didn’t have to). But anyway, we just wanted to be there on vacation with our family. Not have to deal with a 2 hour sales pitch. Otherwise, we loved our trip and the condo was perfect.
