We had an amazing week at Villa Irida. We were a large group - three families of 4, the children were aged between 9-13. The villa is built into a steep hillside which means lots of steps but amazing views and privacy! The swimming pool is fabulous, comfy sun loungers and with a mini-fridge for cold drinks as it is set aside (above) from the main house. The villa worked well to accommodate the three families, we had planned to come with a forth family who couldn’t travel due to Covid-19 shielding, they would have had space to join in as well as the top floor is two separately contained apartments. The outside space was perfect, a lovely BBQ area with views over to Albania. We watched a couple of amazing storms go through. The pool table had a space all for itself above the BBQ, the kids loved using this and also the table tennis next to the pool. The walk down to the beach is steep but not far at all. Some of the group did a really long swim along the shore. There are a couple of beach restaurants down there for pizzas / Greek bites. I would recommend a visit to Kassiopi - visit the harbour there and take a walk around the headland. The best / biggest & nearest supermarket was Diellas in Acharavi.

Villa Irida is located in a truly beautiful part of the world. The villa is more beautiful than what can ever be captured in a picture. You have sweeping views across to Albania and are just up the hill from a beautiful child friendly beach with 2 tavernas. The villa is a 5 minute drive from Kassiopi a picturesque little waterside village (with everything that you could need). We easily booked a taxi from the villa to the airport but also drove hire cars around quite comfortably. We were traveling with my two little boys (almost 1 and 3), my parents and brother and sister in law. The villa has 2 separate apartments upstairs and 4 bedrooms downstairs. All the rooms were more spacious than expected. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped. We also very appreciative of the baby cot, high chair and electric safety plugs that were provided. The rooms were exceptionally clean and a cleaner came mon, wed, fri with a pool man coming on Thurs. For a family with little kids this place was amazing, glamorous but safe so you could actually enjoy the villa and view without stressing about the safety of your little ones too much. Eleana was also fantastic to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay it was definitely worth the long journey from Aus.

We have just returned from a most wonderful family holiday spent at Villa Irida. There was more than enough space for all 12 of us. It was spotlessly clean with plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space. The view from the house is breathtaking. The swimming pool, paddling pool and children's play area are set above the house which gives even more magnificent views. We had such a relaxing break, staying and enjoying the villa most of the time with the occasional walk to the safe sandy beach. (quite steep). The evenings were spent around the barbecue and we had some friendly tournaments playing pool. The maid, Tasia, was wonderful, so friendly bringing us goodies on her visits. Eleana and her family were fabulous too. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a holiday none of us will ever forget and we highly recommend it for a chilled out break.

Great house for families with children! Plenty of room for everyone. Huge swimming pool, swing, barbecue area, near the sandy beach. The main thing is that the beach is sandy, sparsely populated and shallow, very good for children. A little steep climb from the beach to the house but close. We loved it!
