I just ran through and needed a room for the night. The bed was very comfortable and the home was beautiful. Chatted together for a bit before I headed upstairs - very nice lady.

As nice of a place as I could have wanted. Quiet and peaceful set out in the hills, away from the bustle of town. An absolutely perfect place to come for a peaceful nights sleep while working away from home.

We enjoyed our stay SO much! Lona was so warm and friendly! She was available, but not uncomfortable. We came and went as we wanted, and she was a busy lady, too. We were not sure how we would feel sharing a space, especially a bathroom, but we didn't feel at all imposed upon. We never even met the other guests! We came to visit the area my grandfather grew up. Lona called someone and the next thing we knew, we were meeting with a lovely person at the museum and pulling Platt maps! That really made such a wonderful experience for us to see exactly where they lived! Great area, great people! Iowa nice is absolutely present. * Lona is also a phenomenal baker! The morning breakfasts were amazing! Thank you, Lona, we will be back!
