Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a Labrador Retriever that lives on this property but is not allowed in the guest suite. The studio is attached to the house but you will have a private entrance and designated parking. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. We provide a coffee maker and Keurig, gas stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, smart TV with Dish, and WiFi. A staircase provides access to the sleeping loft, which has a queen size bed. The apartment is best suited for 1guest or 2 guests sharing the bed. ***Please note: This apartment is best for a couple vs 2 guests that need 2 beds. The second bed is a comfortable pull out sofa downstairs however it goes all the way to the wall with no room to walk around it. So if the person sleeping upstairs has to use the restroom in the middle of the night they’ll have to climb over the bed. Bathroom is downstairs, off the kitchen. There is a nice deck with small table. There is also a small grill with grilling utensils for your use. We have a large fire pit which we use when burning restrictions allow. Onsite washer and dryer upon request.
