We loved the place. The pool and beach were the perfect place for the adults and the kids. The grounds were beautiful and we seldom left, other than to get groceries, because we had everything we wanted and needed there. Lauren and John were great hosts. We plan to come back for another family reunion soon.

Morland is heaven on Earth! It is exquisitely designed and the landscaping is perfection. From the moment of check in my family of 7 were relaxed and felt very welcomed. The kids spent every waking moment in the heated pool and my husband and I loved watching them and the incredible views. We have not had such an enjoyable vacation in years. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the greatest week.

Bliss is the word that describes our five-day stay. The hospitality, property and accommodations live up to the surrounding gardens and scenic views, which are truly magnificent. The serenity of Moreland is a rare find. All seven in our family loved our stay.

Moreland is a dream. The pictures don’t do this fabulous place justice. Can’t wait to book again. What an amazing Memorial Day weekend thanks to Lauren and John and their beautiful property.

The place was great. Clean, easy to use kitchens, spaced out sleeping area. The hosts, Lauren and John, were available if any problems or questions came up. Having the option of the pool or the Potomac was really nice since the river water was sometime warmer than the pool plus the kids really liked jumping off the pier. We also really enjoyed walking through the woods and vineyards. Really also surprised that mosquitoes were not a problem. Con: We have 3 kids including a baby and all of us sleeping in 1 cottage as difficult. I think the cottage setups are better if kids are older and they could sleep in separate cottage or if there are fewer young kids.
