A lovely and well cared for place, with lots of welcoming details, lovely garden with lots of bird life. Responsive and friendly hosts - a great retreat or base for exploring the area. Highly recommend this cottage.

What a phenomenal Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Phil and Veronica were the most welcoming and lovely hosts! The property is stunning, and the cottage exceeded our expectations by miles. From lovely little touches like robes, to fresh homemade bread and butter the cottage was full of charm and character. I couldn’t recommend this place more, and I really look forward to suggesting it to friends and family – Hopefully one day I’ll get to come back myself. I could spend hours chatting with Phil! I highly recommend getting a bottle of wine from one of the local wineries, making up a cheese board and sitting in the orchard as the sun sets, its now a very special memory for me!

Such an incredible place to stay! The attention to detail was amazing and we felt so at home from the moment we arrived! Phil and Veronica were super lovely hosts but also gave us the privacy to enjoy the amenities peacefully. The cottage is so charming and stargazing whilst soaking in the hot tub was an experience I'll never forget! Will definitely be returning in the future!

Wow ! What a stay, honestly if you're reading this, just book, the photos do not do this place justice (nor could they, it's so so beautiful!) We read some reviews of other Air BnB's in the local area and chose Phil and Veronica's place based on the reviews, and how good our choice was. We were greeted by a gorgeous home baked loaf, a very friendly dog (Sierra, we miss you), a beautifully decorated cottage and a warm and inviting energy that flowed throughout the entire space. We had great evenings playing card games in the Greenhouse, plenty of memorable conversations around the outdoor fire and in the outdoor spa and lots of adventures exploring the property. The hosts were so kind in recommending what the local area had to offer in great detail, it's clear these guys love hosting. A real example of what Air BnB should be ! Our only regret is that we didn't take more time off of work to enjoy this beautiful getaway. We'll be back !

Thank you so much for a beautiful stay - a lovely little place only 20 minutes from the Barossa. The cottage is such an awesome experience, we sat and watched the birds and bees in the gardens surrounding the house and felt very relaxed. The only thing I would say is that the attic bed wasn’t super comfy (but I’m quite a light, fussy sleeper) so I am sure this wouldn’t be a problem for others - I just happen to be quite sensitive with my comfort. Didn’t meet Veronica unfortunately, but Phil was so kind and helpful - providing us with fresh bread and eggs to make breakie; giving us some delicious salami to try, and lots of good food and wine recommendations. Would highly recommend staying.
