This accommodation is of a very high standard. It is only a short walk to the charming alleyways that lead up to spectacular views over the caldera. The aircon is excellent and the bed is very comfortable. Santorini’s views live up to the hype. They are just astonishing and this is a very nice place to stay to enjoy this beautiful location. A warning for first time visitors - if you are arriving by ferry at Port Athinios be careful of what type of taxi you use for the tfr to your accommodation. We were shepherded to a very prominent taxi / transfers sign and were happy to pay the 30 euros cost quoted. We were then directed to a minivan that had about 25 seats with VERY restricted space (couldn’t getting hand luggage on my lap). We then had to wait with no a/c until all seats had been filled plus some children were standing in the aisle. Without doubt the worst “taxi” experience we have ever had.

Spacious, beautifully renovated apartment with a private patio. Quiet area but short walk to sights, restaurants, etc. Host met us at the apartment for check in to orient us and offer reccomendations to make the most of our trip. He sent details later and arranged transfers. The space and the host made this a great introduction to Santorini. We hope to come again soon.

Our stay was wonderful. The Airbnb was spotless and the location was very convenient to the caldera and the center of town. Firastafani was within walking distance. Wonderful host and the Airbnb was beautiful. Thank you, Samira and Ron

Theodoris' place, Thera Gold Suites, is an amazing place! it is a fully renovated apartment within a short distance from the main street. It is centrally located, yet quiet and peaceful surroundings. The place is tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Theodoris himself is a most gracious host. He greeted us when we arrived early in the morning, and allowed us to leave our luggage and start enjoying our vacation. His recommendation for a place to eat nearby, as well as his invaluable assistance to coordinate our pick up at the airport, return to the port upon leaving, and the vehicle while we were there was invaluable. He recommended an outing which he even assisted us in scheduling. We have never encountered such a helpful host in all our years of travels. Our stay at Thera Gold Suites was a memorable thanks in part to Theodoris and his beautiful place.
