The space The Coulter Hotel is a very unique property with tons of charm, character and history to experience. Each guestroom is dedicated to a tribe, country or state which at one time or another in past history has laid claim to this corner of SE Colorado. Guest access Guests are welcome to experience the vast majority of the building and property. Inside the inn, on the main floor, guests can utilize the living, dining and kitchen areas at any time. Within the main living area is seating space near a free-standing fireplace for a quiet conversation or to enjoy the fabulous sunrises and sunsets. The property also has one television in the living area with a comfortable leather couch to relax and unwind. Basic satellite and streaming video services are available, as well as a collection of DVDs and Bluray discs. Another antique couch is also located in the living area for a peaceful gatherings. The dining area, which can accommodate 12 people, is available for eating, games, or socializing. The kitchen is also open and can be used by guests. One guest shared bathroom is available on the main floor. Laundry machines are in the kitchen area and can be used as well. Free wireless Internet access is available for all guests. On the second floor, guests should limit access to their individual room(s) and the two shared bathroom facilities. An exterior deck/patio is available to guests for relaxing evenings and gazing at the beautiful stars above The Coulter Hotel. Outside the inn, within the fenced area will be additional outside seating on a flagstone patio, a fire pit with log seats and horseshoe/bean bag toss games.
